As if Team Fortress didn’t have enough hats, Valve released an entirely community-created update: Robotic Boogaloo that features 57 new items. These are all mechanical versions of hats and miscellaneous items we know and love. It’s a bit of a robotic overkill but you can never have too many hats.
Play Atari Breakout in the Google Image Search
Yep, you heard right. Google has another Easter egg. Go ahead and click on the Image Search in Google and type “Atari breakout” in the search box… quotes not needed. A breakout game will appear with Atari images as the blocks. If you’re lazy, click on this link.
Cool huh?
How I feel about all this Skyrim and mods and stuff.
A Dummy Like Me Has No Reason to Mod
Skyrim! I hate this game. I love this game. It’s just not worth playing without mods in my opinion. I tried, I really did. But it was so boring to me that I had to give up. That was before I bought a good computer that could handle all sorts of modern games. Playing Skyrim on my PS3 was embarrassing. Bethesda dumped some buggy crap on the PS3 community. Then don’t get me started on the 360 version I tried. That was also a lesson in futility but it worked a little better. The bottom line is that vanilla Skyrim is a boring game. It really is. Wolfenstein: The New Order – Annoucement Trailer

So what if the Nazis won World War II? Evidentially, they’d create giant evil Nazi robots. Why not. Bethesda is bringing back the Fuhrer-bashing Franchise in Wolfenstein: The New Order. We’ll be reprising the role of William “B.J.” Blazkowicz, the series protagonist and lone hero of the world as he battles through an alternate 1960′s Nazi-ruled earth.
I better see some Mecha-Hitler…
Ming Mecca What?

I’m not quite sure what I’m looking at. It’s got dials, plugs and switches and resembles a 1940′s telephone switchboard. It’s called Ming Mecca which happens to be a reference from the movie “Pi”, and it generates “video games”.
Ming Mecca by Special Stage Systems, is an analog video game synthesizer also referred to as a voltage controlled video game console. Not that this explains much. The amazing yet abstract 80′s debut trailer below doesn’t help either.
New Trailer for Grand Theft Auto V
Rockstar released a new trailer for Grand Theft Auto V today. We learn a little more about the trio of playable protagonists. If you didn’t already know, this time around you’re free to swap between three main characters throughout the game instead of the usual solo guy. So far Trevor looks like the most entertaining of the bunch as most homicidal drug dealers usually are.
Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 people get to play this on September 17th of this year. Once again us PC people have to wait. Hopefully it’s not a 8 month drag like GTA IV. As long as they port it right, it’s looking like a hell of a lot of fun.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon – Like Totally Radical

On April 1st, Ubisoft announced a complete overhaul, stand-alone expansion for Far Cry 3 called Blood Dragon and it bears no semblance to the Far Cry series. It’s an 80′s retro-vision of the future complete with synthesizers, neon lasers, Chrome lettering and cyberspace grids. As the plot goes, you play Sergeant Rex Power Colt — voiced by Michael Biehn, the good guy from Terminator — who has to save the world from a cyborg army called Omega Force. Oh yeah, and there are giant Blood Dragons that shoot lasers from their eyes. Seriously.
Torment: Tides of Numenera – Best of the New Isometric RPG Comeback?

Last month, InXile Entertainment launched a Kickstarter Campaign to develop Torment: Tides of Numenera. It’s the spiritual successor of Planescape: Torment which happens to be one of my favorite RPG’s and quite possibly one of the best written games of all time. I’m not the only one excited about this either. Torment: Tides of Numenera currently holds the record for the fastest approved project. In only 6 hours they reached their $900,000 goal. As of today, 74,405 backers have pledged over 4 million dollars. InXile has added 19 Stretch goals to meet the continuing donations to the project. Wow.
Batman: Arkham Origins – New game, New developer
The latest Game Informer cover features the third installment of the Batman Arkham series due out this October. Batman: Arkham Origins takes place prior to the first games and introduces Batman to his future nemesises, nemesiss, nemesii, nemesis’s. There’s no villian list right now but I’m sure some heavy hitters will be there. I hope to see some new faces too so we’re not fighting the same gang from the first two. The cover does feature Deathstroke, a pretty cool villian/anti-hero and top-secret experimental army super-soldier. Where have I heard that before…
Krieg is Coming – Borderland 2′s Sixth Vault Hunter

At the Pax East Panel, Gearbox announced more information on the upcoming DLC and 6th playable Vault Hunter. His name is Krieg, he’s a Psycho melee class and his special ability involves bashing people with his Buzz Axe. The axe can be thrown too for hard to reach victims.
As with other Vault Hunters, he comes with 3 Skill Trees. These are BloodLust – gives you boosts as you deal damage, Mania – increases your damage when you take damage, and Hellborn – involves fire damage and setting yourself on fire.
